The
Spasearch Story
Simply stated… we are an organization dedicated to consumers
evaluating the merits of swimming pool or spa ownership. Poolsearch
supports families purchasing inground or aboveground pools, while
Spasearch focuses exclusively on spas.
The decision to purchase a spa or hot tub may be an easy one, but
selecting the right manufacturer is usually a much more perplexing and
complicated decision. After all, your spa must be built with quality
materials and superior craftsmanship to last for years. To support this
cause, we have developed a collection of magazines (buyer's guides),
websites and bulletin boards focused exclusively on educating consumers
about the fascinating pool and spa industry.
Our Buyer's Guide
Today, more than 175 companies manufacture spas in the United States
and Canada. Imagine sifting through all of the information necessary in
order to purchase the perfect spa for your lifestyle. What a daunting
task! It may seem nearly impossible to thoroughly evaluate a single spa
manufacturer, not to mention evaluating multiple companies, each with
their own unique terminology and trademarked names to compare similar
features. That's where
we come in! Let us help you by clicking
here to request a FREE copy of the Spasearch Buyer's Guide.
An Independent
Publication
A manufacturer is NOT required to pay Spasearch any fee to be listed in
our magazines or on our websites. In fact, more than 40 percent of our
Recommended, Approved and Editor’s Choice recipients have
NEVER
advertised or paid Spasearch any sort of fee for favorable editorial
publicity or treatment. Spasearch magazine and spasearch.org are
independently owned and operated. No spa manufacturer
owns, controls or has any financial interest in our business. Further,
our
editors do not invest in firms whose products we include in our
magazine.

Printing Accuracy
Spasearch has consolidated our buyer's guide to summarize the major
players in the industry. Due to obvious logistics, we do not conduct
independent evaluations of each spa product; Instead, we rely on
information and evaluations provided by our editors, manufacturers,
consumers, and other 3rd party resources. Because of space limitations,
Spasearch has omitted many specialized and regional spa manufacturers
that may produce excellent quality spas. In addition, we have
eliminated numerous manufacturers because we were unable to obtain and
confirm their information prior to printing our guide.

 |
| Like all magazines,
Spasearch relies heavily on advertising revenue to offset research and
production costs associated with our publication. Because of
this sponsorship, most consumers are able to obtain Spasearch at no
cost, either through our website or through a local spa retailer. |

| Customer
Responsibilities |
|
 |
In using any and all services provided by members of the Spasearch
Network, the consumer acknowledges that Spasearch is not acting as a
spa manufacturer, spa retailer, general contractor, agent or lawyer. It
is the consumer’s responsibility to select a manufacturer and
contractor and to negotiate the terms for any work performed. Consumers
should consult with appropriate expert advisors to assist in home
improvements and spa/pool construction (including a lawyer regarding
contracts, permits and other necessary job documentation, and an
insurance professional regarding contractors and owners insurance
coverage requirements). Due to the inherent time delay in the
data-gathering process, pending actions or other issues affecting a
manufacturer or contractor’s record may have occurred that
were not captured by third-party data sources prior to publishing
materials in our buyer's guides and websites.
