Spa Supply Accessories for Your Home Spa

If you have invested your time, energy and money into installing a hot tub or spa in your home or backyard then it is critical that you also take the time to maintain it well. Spa supply dealers can provide you with all of the various spa supply accessories that you will need to ensure that you spa runs efficiently, effectively and gives you the warm water experience for which you intend it.
Accessories To Consider

Some of the spa supply accessories you should consider purchase include:

  • Larger Pumps and Extra Jets - All 5' and larger spa systems come with a 1-1/2HP, 240v, 2 speed pump and four massage jets which is usually just fine for the spa itself if you use it once or twice a week throughout the year and with one to three people in the tub at any one time. If you would prefer more jets, then all you need to do is ask your spa supply dealer for spa supply jet accessories to accomplish this.
  • Air Blower System - The next spa supply accessory to consider is a Bubbler System which blows bubbles through small holes which in turn can be very soothing for the user.
  • Larger Gas Heater Option - The standard gas heater provided with most hot tub systems is a 100k Btu gas heater - this is generally fine for average use, but if you are looking for warmer water for a sustained period, then speak with your spa supply dealer about a spa supply accessory like a larger gas heater. This will help you raise the temperature of the water faster and for a longer period of time.
  • Covers - There are two different types of covers that you can purchase from your spa supply dealer. One is an inexpensive floating blanket that rests right on the water while the other is an insulating hard cover that fits over the top of the tub and forms a complete seal. . Speak to your spa supply dealer about the options including wooden covers, aluminum covers, and roll covers.
